PETAR MOMCILOVIC

Petar Momcilovic serves as the Head Men and Women’s Water Polo Coach at Mercyhurst University and works with USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program in the Great Lakes Zone as the Head Cadet Boys Coach.

Petar graduated from Mercyhurst with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Sports Leadership, after graduating Petar moved to Florida where he has served as the Venice High School Head Boys’ Water Polo Coach and a USA Water Polo Olympic Development Coach for the Southeast Zone Girls Development and Youth teams.

Petar is a native of Serbia. He began his coaching career in London, United Kingdom. Since 2011 he has coached at every level from the U12 age group, high school, universities and even  to international competitions. Petar was very successful as the head coach and director of Ealing Water Polo Club. Several of his athletes  went on to represent England in internationally. Before his college coaching in the United States, Petar served as the Head Men’s Water Polo Coach for Oxford University, where he led the team to their highest British University and College Sports conference finish (third place) and won the Southern BUCS championship.
